Our client
Our client, a multi-strategy hedge fund, is looking for a Compliance Officer to support its London Compliance team. The role will sit in a small team with a direct report into the Head of Compliance. This is a hands-on role and will require a strong technical background.
Responsibilities
Providing advisory support to the front office across the different sales and trading desks
Responsible for real-time analysis of alerts leading to the detection and prevention of misconduct
Review and provide advice on regulatory change projects
Oversight and testing of the compliance monitoring program
Providing core compliance support (including outside business interests, PA dealing, counter party onboarding, vendor reviews, market soundings meetings)
Develop and maintain compliance policies, manuals, procedures, risk assessments
Filing position disclosures
Providing compliance training to the wider business
Requirements
3+ years of compliance experience, preferably within another alternative investment manager
Commercially minded, highly organised and capable of managing a diverse workload
Strong experience working with the FCA, European and Asian regulators
