​An exciting opportunity to join this award winning bank. You will be responsible for the development and delivery of business-critical statistical analysis including, oversight of external partnerships and product assessments, alongside Finance impairment forecasting.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform and oversee analysis of secured & unsecured lending portfolio:

    • Undertake analysis of the Invoice Discounting business for the Credit & Risk Committees

    • Support Finance by providing portfolio and product MI to enhance the impairment model (analytics)

    • Support the stress testing assumptions process (Credit Risk) (Analytics)

    • Support the IFRS9 transition (Analytics)

    • Provide portfolio and product to help inform the Director of Credit & Underwriting of the need to propose changes to Policy (Analytics)

    • Work with Credit &Underwriting in refining the lending parameters of the Invoice Discounting business (Analytics) and or future product lines

    • Review impacts of new lending products on the portfolio (Analytics)

    • Analysis & Regular oversight of any Lending Product MI produced from external sources of product supplies.

  • Support specific provisioning decision process (New Product Lending)

  • Review the analysis against economic considerations to provide recommendations to support credit policy and strategic direction

  • Initiate deep dives into the core lending and product portfolios to review specific segments of those portfolios.

  • Identify issues and opportunities through the data by using cutting edge analytical techniques to explore opportunities and understand performance triggers
