With offices around the globe, it has an extensive and impressive track record when it comes to delivering experienced counsel and advice to its high-profile clients.


With a team of more than 200 people around the world, our client is looking to grow its Advisory practice in London. The function's aim is to discreetly provide solutions to its customers when it comes to risk management, assets and reputation protection. Just like the rest of the firm, this function focuses on intelligence-based methods to solve challenges that can't be addressed with traditional approaches.

Overview

This function combines intelligence, investigation, financial and security based solutions to its client. The successful candidate will be an essential member of the team, whose role will be to focus primarily on financial and forensic accounting requirements but also participate in wider operational work. Projects include source of wealth authentication (SOWA), multi-jurisdictional asset trace, investigations, political and/or security issues, communications/digital investigations and due diligence.

Responsibilities

  • Analysing large quantities of financial legal and corporate data;

  • Undertaking thorough research through various media;

  • Interpreting gathered evidence and presenting it intelligibly; and

  • Writing reports summarising any findings.

Your Profile

The successful candidate will be a qualified financial analyst (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CFA or other relevant qualification) with:

  • Excellent English writing skills;

  • Additional language would be beneficial;

  • Strong research capabilities;

  • A keen interest in international affairs;

  • Skilled in data processing and proficient in Microsoft Excel;

  • Proactive, excellent attention to detail, highly organised and takes ownership of work;

  • Comfortable interacting with senior management, able to communication professionally and succinctly in both verbal and written form; and

  • Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
