Our client

A prominent US law firm with a strong global presence seeks a talented junior associate to join its expanding Real Estate Finance practice in London. This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified or junior associate to work on high-value, cross-border real estate transactions while developing their skills within a supportive and dynamic environment.

Position Overview

As a Real Estate Finance Associate, you will play a key role in the firm's London-based team, working closely with financial sponsors and lenders on a variety of acquisition, development, investment, and leverage financing deals. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of the practice by delivering exceptional legal advice and support on complex transactions spanning various real estate asset classes throughout the UK and continental Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Advise financial sponsors and lenders on a range of real estate financing transactions

  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to acquisition, development, investment, and back-leverage financing

  • Conduct due diligence and manage transaction timelines

  • Collaborate with partners, associates, and clients to ensure seamless execution of deals

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and developments to provide informed advice to clients

Requirements

  • Newly qualified or up to 1 year of post-qualification experience in real estate finance or a related field

  • Qualification to practice law in England and Wales

  • Strong academic background and excellent drafting skills

  • Ability to manage multiple transactions and prioritise workload effectively

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Intellectual curiosity, entrepreneurial spirit, and passion for the law
