A top-tier US law firm, is seeking a 2-6 PQE Leveraged Finance Associate to join their high-performing, cohesive banking team. Position Overview
As a Leveraged Finance Associate, you will play a key role in advising banks, financial institutions, debt funds, alternative lenders and private equity sponsors on complex, cross-border financing structures. You will be responsible for documenting and negotiating a range of leveraged finance debt facilities, working closely with senior lawyers and partners to deliver exceptional service to clients.
Responsibilities
Advise on a variety of leveraged finance transactions, focusing on representing lenders and sponsors
Document and negotiate a range of leveraged finance debt facilities
Manage and coordinate the legal aspects of transactions, ensuring timely and efficient completion
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including tax, corporate and real estate departments
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of their needs and objectives
Requirements
England & Wales qualified lawyer with 2-6 years of post-qualification experience in leveraged finance work at a top-tier law firm
Strong academic background
Proven track record in advising on complex, cross-border financing structures
Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills
