Rutherford is exclusively partnered with a leading multi-strategy hedge fund that are looking for an Attorney in their New York team. The individual will have a hybrid role across Legal & Compliance, reporting into the Global General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer.

​Responsibilities

  • Provide expert regulatory advice to the investment teams and traders in the New York office

  • Assist the US Compliance team on managing regulatory audits, day-to-day compliance and upcoming regulatory developments

  • Provide support to the legal team on deal execution and trading related matters.

  • Develop and enhance the US compliance program.

  • Deliver compliance training to the wider business.

​Requirements

  • 3 - 5+ years of compliance/regulatory experience, ideally within a fixed income/credit investment firm.

  • Strong understanding of fixed income products, including CLOs

  • Detailed SEC knowledge, UK & APAC regulation experience is advantageous.

​

Basic salary range for this position is $200,000 - $250,000
