About the job

We are exclusively partnering with a U.S multi-strategy hedge fund to recruit a compliance officer in London. This role will support the global surveillance team, ensuring coverage across the EMEA and APAC regions while working closely with the U.S. team.


Responsibilities

  • Lead on daily trade and communications surveillance, providing expert advice across MAR topics

  • Develop the surveillance program and undertake annual assessments

  • Provide regulatory guidance on new products, strategies and investment decisions.

  • Assist with position and transaction reporting requirements

  • Assist with code of ethics, regulatory development and ad-hoc compliance matters.


Requirements

  • 5 - 7+ years of compliance experience, either within a hedge fund, investment bank, or exchange

  • Expert market abuse knowledge and experience working with relevant systems
