Our client, a top-tier international law firm, are looking to add a corporate M&A lawyer to join their highly regarded energy practice in London.
The Opportunity
With offices across Europe, Middle East and APAC this law firm are able to offer high quality cross border transactional work.
The team regularly represents energy companies (including oil and gas, midstream, interstate pipeline and downstream companies, as well as power companies), utilities and investors in mergers, acquisitions and dispositions of energy-related companies and assets.
Areas of key expertise span full range of matters for Infrastructure & Energy (I&E) clients including formation of joint ventures and structuring of shareholder arrangements, as well as other M&A aspects (including asset level DD); all financing, hedging and credit support arrangements; offtake, power trading and energy services arrangements; construction and O&M arrangements; real estate and consents; regulatory advice; and dispute resolution.
The team is influential in the space and is made up of notable key figures from rising star to partner levels.
Your Profile
3-6 PQE (or equivalent) within project law within the energy sector, including development, financing, acquisition and disposal of international energy projects.
Deep knowledge of EU and UK laws related to energy, and ability to provide clear guidance on a range of related matters to senior stakeholders and leadership
Excellent judgement and strong communication and collaboration skills.
