Rutherford is exclusively partnered with a global credit fund - with over $20bn AUM - that are looking for a mid-level Attorney in their New York team. The individual will have a hybrid role across Legal & Compliance, reporting into the Global General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer.

Responsibilities

  • Support the establishment and structuring of new business lines and strategic initiatives.

  • Advise on transactions across the credit investment teams.

  • Provide legal and regulatory support to the broader business and various stakeholders within the CLO sector.

  • Assist the Chief Compliance Officer in developing the compliance program for the CLO business, along with related ad-hoc projects.

Requirements

  • 3 - 6 years of practical legal experience within a top law firm or credit firm.

  • Strong structured finance, securitisation or broader credit background

  • The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the investment advisors act and relevant regulatory rules

  • Strong package and benefits available

Basic salary range for this position is $220,000-$300,000
