​Our Client

Our client, a highly regarded sovereign wealth fund, are currently seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join their London Legal team.

The successful candidate will be assisting the business' General Counsel on several daily operations, with a particular focus on supporting the investment team.

Main Duties

Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Alongside the firm's investment team, work on potential investment opportunities

  • Project managing transactions

  • Provide legal advice in meetings in relation to potential investments, identifying potential legal risks

  • Support the compliance team on KYC and compliance matters

  • Review and negotiation of third-party contracts and other legal documentation

  • Keep abreast of legislation which could impact the firm's investments

  • Conduct legal training for staff members​

Your Profile

  • At least 7 years PQE, preferably gained within a similar business or a law firm in the UK or Europe

  • Sound legal research skills and legal drafting capabilities
