Our Client
Rutherford have been mandated on an exciting opportunity for a Surveillance Associate to join our hedge fund client’s Connecticut office. The successful candidate will be joining the business' well-established surveillance team, whose core purpose is to identify, monitor and assess numerous sources of compliance risk.
Main Duties
Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:
Conducting routine trade surveillance, investigations and communication surveillance
Creating risk assessments for the business
Being a SME within the space and keeping abreast of regulations and best practices which may affect the business
Leveraging technology and resources which can help minimize risk – and protect the firm along the way
Your Profile
Educated to a degree level
At least 2 years of surveillance experience within a financial services firm (buy-side firm, bank, broker or regulatory authority)
Excellent communication skills
