​FTI Consulting has announced the appointment of Karen Briggs as Head of Forensic and Litigation Consulting. She will join as a Senior Managing Director.

Ms Briggs join from KPMG. At the auditor she was most recently as Head of Brexit and UK Head of Financial Crime. She has focused on leading global financial crime assignments for financial institutions. These have included large regulatory investigations.

FTI has been named No. 1 for forensic accounting in Chambers and Partners Litigation Support guide. They were named as the Insurance Expert Witness firm of the year by Who’s Who Legal. They were also ranked as the top two firms in the GAR 100 Expert Witness Power Index
