A leading global law firm, is seeking a talented Associate to join their world-class Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure practice in London. Position Overview

As an Associate in the Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure group, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to the firm's sophisticated client base. You will work closely with partners and senior lawyers on a wide range of matters, including project development, deal structuring, financing, M&A, and regulatory compliance. This position offers significant opportunities for professional growth and advancement within a market-leading practice.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review and amend legal documentation for complex infrastructure and energy projects

  • Provide strategic guidance to clients, demonstrating strong market awareness and understanding of key objectives

  • Manage client expectations, deadlines and project delivery effectively

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple jurisdictions

  • Supervise and mentor junior team members

  • Contribute to business development initiatives and client relationship management

  • Engage in continuous legal and sector knowledge development and sharing

Requirements

  • UK/Commonwealth Qualified lawyer NQ-3 PQE

  • Experience in project finance, infrastructure finance or acquisition finance

  • Strong interest in the Energy and Infrastructure sector, coupled with excellent technical knowledge

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

  • Highly motivated, resilient self-starter with strong organisational abilities

  • Keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and commercial acumen

  • Understanding of law firm economics and strategic priorities

  • Sound judgement and alignment with the firm's core values
