Our Client
Our client, an international quantitative trading firm, is currently seeking an experienced legal counsel to join its London office. The successful candidate will possess sound commercial awareness and will be able to communicate clearly to team members across the globe. The role presents an opportunity to join an environment that will allow the candidate to develop their skills continuously and to become a key resource for the organisation.
Key Duties
Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:
Drafting and negotiating trading-related agreements
Liaising with external counsel on various matters
Staying appraised of and advising senior management on changes in the UK and European regulations
Negotiating trading agreements, side letters, material contracts and associated agreements
Advising on the establishment, structure and operation of private funds
Your Profile
Qualified Solicitor
Experience gained from working in a hedge fund, bank or trading firm would be preferred
At least 4 years post-qualification legal experience
Proven track record of being able to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Secondment experience would be advantageous, though not essential
