Our Client

Our client is an innovative payments fintech who are creating a great name for themselves in the market. With a truly impressive growth in a short space of time, they are now looking to double in size over the next year.

With a growing team, this fintech is now in need of a Commercial Legal Counsel to provide assistance with commercial contracts, governance and in-house policies.

Main Duties

Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Working on a vast range of commercial contract negotiations and issues alongside the firm's legal and procurement teams

  • Updating and reviewing commercial contracts

  • Performing ongoing diligence of business partners

  • Working on governance and ESG related matters alongside the firm's General Counsel and senior management

  • Overseeing marketing collateral and copy to ensure they are compliant

Your Profile

  • Qualified lawyer with 2-3 PQE

  • Essential: strong experience in drafting commercial contracts and outsourcing arrangements

  • An interest in payments and e-money ​
