We have partnered with a leading law firm in their search for a Corporate Real Estate lawyer to join their ranked practice on an initial 6-month paternity cover.
The practice regularly represents real estate developers and owners, private equity funds, institutional investors and sovereign wealth funds in connection with the formation and restructuring of joint ventures for real estate development, investment or financing purposes, including structuring investment platforms in the US and internationally.The partners act for a wide range of domestic and international clients, including institutional investors, high-net-worth individuals, family offices, corporate and retail occupiers, and finance providers.
Main Duties
Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial real estate contracts, agreements, leases, and other legal documents.
Providing legal advice and guidance on a variety of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and development projects.
Conducting due diligence, title examinations, and property assessments.Identifying and mitigating legal risks associated with commercial real estate transactions.
Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and compliant real estate transactions.
Staying up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide informed legal counsel.
Qualifications required
2+ years of experience as a Commercial Real Estate Lawyer.
Strong understanding of commercial real estate law, transactions, and regulations.
Exceptional negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
