Rutherford is exclusively partnered with a leading multi-strategy hedge fund that are looking for an Attorney in their New York team. The individual will have a hybrid role across Legal & Compliance, reporting into the Global General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer.
Responsibilities
•Provide expert regulatory advice to the investment teams and traders in the New York office
•Assist the US Compliance team on managing regulatory audits, day-to-day compliance and upcoming regulatory developments
•Provide support to the legal team on deal execution and trading related matters.
•Develop and enhance the US compliance program.
•Deliver compliance training to the wider business.
Requirements
•3 - 5+ years of compliance/regulatory experience, ideally within a fixed income/credit investment firm.
•Strong understanding of fixed income products, including CLOs
•Detailed SEC knowledge, UK & APAC regulation experience is advantageous.
Basic salary range for this position is $200,000 - $250,000
