Position Overview

As a Corporate M&A Associate, you will play a key role advising on a variety of complex corporate transactions, including M&A, private equity and venture capital deals. You'll have the opportunity to draft and review sophisticated documentation, liaise directly with clients and opposing counsel, and collaborate with team members while handling individual responsibilities. This position offers excellent exposure and career growth potential within a top-tier practice.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on a range of corporate transactions, including M&A, private equity and venture capital deals

  • Draft and review complex legal documentation for transactions

  • Play a significant role in all aspects of M&A and venture capital deals

  • Interface directly with clients and opposing counsel to progress transactions

  • Collaborate with team members while also managing individual responsibilities

  • Assist clients with general corporate matters as needed

Requirements

  • Qualified to practice law in England & Wales

  • 3+ years of post-qualification experience at a top tier law firm

  • Proven experience advising on high-end transactions with cross-border elements

  • Outstanding academic credentials and technical legal skills

  • Excellent communication, drafting and negotiation skills

  • Ability to manage multiple transactions and prioritise effectively

  • Collaborative team player with strong problem-solving skills
