A global technology advisory firm looking to strengthen its FS Cyber Risk senior leadership team in the UK & Ireland. The role
The role calls for experienced advisory professionals from a diverse range of backgrounds including cyber security, technology risk, compliance, digital transformation and governance. Must have large scale IT Transformation experience. Security operations out-sourcing or set-up desired.
The practice offers a fast-paced environment that is driven by innovation and offers a challenging and thrilling experience in return. Successful candidates will be able to apply a consultative approach to client issues address client security challenges through a combination of own experience, in-house assets, research and market solutions.
Remote working (WFH) for the foreseeable future, projects are across the UK – with a weighting to London and the South East – so a willingness to travel is essential. All employees of the firm have access to the company’s flexible working policy. Any flexibility is subject to prior management approval, in line with business requirements.
Responsibilities and accountabilities
Building, developing, and managing a team that enjoys delivering timely solutions to clients’ FS Risk quandaries
Building, managing, and fostering client relationships. Become a long-term, trusted advisor for cyber risk matters
Leading largescale IT transformation Projects
Resource management, financial & project planning of large programs
Collaborative team leadership, both remotely and on location, delegation, personnel management
Leading contract negotiations and financial management to drive best-in-class solutions for both the client and company at all times
Mentoring junior colleagues and assisting in professional development across the wider risk practice
Drive continuous improvement of existing products and contracts through innovation and application of best practice
Ownership of wider contextual impact of contract on client/company business environment
Lead collaboration on cross-functional solutions from within other parts of the business
Desired technical and professional expertise
Demonstrated expertise in or with Financial Services clients
Focus on industry specific best practice, threat and regulatory knowledge
Extensive advisory experience focused around one (or more) of the following: technology or operational risk, risk assessments, security operations transformation, compliance, audit, security and strategy, Identity and access management, GDPR
Minimum qualifications: ISO27001, SOC (1/2)
One or more of the following: CISA, CISM, CISSP, GIAC, CEH
Proven team leadership record
Strong track record of business development and driving billables
Strong written, oral, presentation skills
Computer Science, Mathematics or STEM background – minimum BSc
