Our Client

Our client, a renowned asset manager which specialises in alternative investment strategies, is currently looking for a Financial Crime Compliance Officer to join its Luxembourg team. The role will report directly into the firm's Head of Compliance.

Main Duties

Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain and update the Compliance Manual and internal policies and procedures, including AML systems and controls

  • Develop and maintain an effective AML and CTF culture, including providing training to wider staff

  • Perform reviews on AML and CTF, including due diligence and risk assessments

  • Perform transaction monitoring

  • Liaise alongside the MLRO/Head of Compliance with the CSSF

  • Monitor and develop internal regulations based on upcoming regulatory change

Your Profile

  • Good knowledge of Luxembourgish regulations

  • At least three years of relevant experience in a compliance function in Luxembourg, with a particular focus on AML/KYC knowledge

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
