Our client, a prominent global private equity firm, is actively seeking an accomplished professional to join their Legal & Compliance team in a pivotal Regulatory Change Manager role.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the Regulatory Change Management program of a pre-eminent firm, alongside the firm's compliance and legal teams. The core purpose of this position is to identify, analyse and respond to to new regulations in the EMEA region.
Main Duties
Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:
Establish and maintain a centralised repository for tracking regulatory updates.
Provide oversight on regulatory changes, advise business units, and guide compliance officers from the firm's European offices on EMEA financial services law.
Take the lead on projects or support as a subject matter expert for new regulations.
Design and produce management reports for regulatory change stakeholders and the compliance management team.
Be the go-to expert on regulatory management for senior stakeholders and team members.
Lead or support the firm's engagement in policy papers and consultation processes.
Explore automated regulation change feeds and market applications.
Contribute to new licensing applications in EMEA, including policy and reporting framework development for the Core Compliance team.
Your Profile
6- 10 years of relevant experience, specifically of sitting in a compliance position within a fast-paced environment
Strong knowledge of European regulations, including AIFMD, SFDR, MAR, MIFID, FCA Handbook
