Our Client

An exciting mandate has emerged with a mid-market private equity group with c.$15bn AUM. As the Legal Counsel - you will be responsible for advising on primarily European deals. The firm invest across a range of sectors including; consumer, healthcare and tech.

Main Duties

Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide legal advice and support on transactions and investments

  • Support transaction execution activities, liaising with internal and external counsel and team members on transaction documentation

  • Liaising with the European legal team and advise portfolio companies on legal related matters

  • Drafts, reviews, negotiates and interprets contracts and agreements

  • Manage external counsel and provide proactive support to the investment team.

Your Profile

  • c. 2-4 PQE of legal experience from a leading private practice or in house firm.

  • Strong experience across M&A or Private Equity. Experience within minority investments would be a benefit.
