A prominent international law firm, is seeking a talented Managing Associate to join their thriving Corporate Private Equity team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced lawyer to work on a range of mandates for both investors and investee companies, while contributing to the development of the team's talent.

Position Overview

As a Managing Associate in the Corporate Private Equity team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional legal services to the firm's esteemed clients. Working closely with Partners, you will advise on a variety of private equity transactions, leveraging your expertise to provide strategic guidance and ensure successful outcomes. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor and nurture junior team members, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Advise investors and investee companies on a range of private equity transactions

  • Collaborate with Partners to deliver high-quality legal services and achieve client objectives

  • Provide guidance on deal structuring and market practice, drawing on your extensive experience

  • Mentor and develop junior team members, contributing to their professional growth

  • Maintain a strong understanding of company law and stay abreast of industry developments

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service and value

Requirements

  • Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience in corporate law

  • Strong grounding in company law and extensive corporate transaction experience

  • Proven track record of working with leading mid-market or large cap investors (highly advantageous)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships

  • Strong mentoring and leadership abilities, with a commitment to developing junior talent

  • Collaborative and team-oriented approach, with a passion for delivering exceptional results
