Our Client
Our client, a Venture Capital fund focused on developing firms within the digital asset space, are seeking a Paralegal to join their London based team.
Reporting into the Head of Legal, the candidate must possess a keen intererest in blockchain and decentralised technology.
Main Duties
Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:
Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of the fund's contract template database (including NDAs, employment and consultancy agreements, investment agreements, etc.)
Providing regulatory and legal due diligence on investments and portfolio companies
Negotation of documentation around transactions
Liaising and managing relationships with various stakeholders including external counsel
Advising the firm of relevant legal and regulatory changes, and providing thought leadership both internally and externally
Assisting with corporate and regulatory filings and applications (where relevant)
Your Profile
Experience across corporate law and/or venture capital practice
Familiarity with legal/regulatory issues around investments and cryptocurrency
Demonstrable interest in digital assets and its implementation
