The Role
A boutique and growing law firm based in Westchester county, is currently looking for an experienced Paralegal to join its team. You will provide support to 2-3 attorneys in collaboration with other support staff.
Main Duties
Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:
Drafting and reviewing correspondence
Recording and storing client information
Maintaining and scheduling attorney calendars
Conduct legal research and assist in preparing legal opinions, memorandums etc.
Communicating with clients and other third-parties
Preparing and filing legal documentation.
Your Profile
3-5 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant
Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and concepts
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Familiarity with education law is desirable but not essential
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organization abilities are required when reviewing and preparing documents.
Benefits include health, vision and dental insurance, and paid time off. The firm will also be implementing a 401(k) plan in 2024. This position can be remote three days per week and the firm offers a great deal of flexibility.
Basic salary range: $70,000 - $100,000
