Our client is a major international law firm with office locations across the globe. It is highly reputable for delivering a fully integrated and internationally focused service to clients.
It’s energy and infrastructure team act for project procurers, developers and lenders on the development of infrastructure assets, with a strong focus on the power sector.
This role is focused on corporate structuring, including acquisitions, joint ventures and development of power and renewable energy assets. The deal sheet includes offshore wind farms, green hydrogen, utility scale power assets, nuclear, biomass etc – the list goes on. Many transactions are market-firsts or leading in terms of innovation and scale.
About You
Technically competent corporate lawyer, with experience being involved in highly complex transactions – energy specific experience highly preferred.
Excellent contract law ability, including various construction and energy specific contracts, such as PPA’s, EPC and O&M.
Experience dealing with lenders in a project finance capacity is also useful.
E&W and commonwealth qualified considered.
