Our Client
We are currently supporting a specialist commodities and trade finance business that are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel in London. The firm are currently 200+ people in London and have offices across NY, Middle East and Europe. The role will act as a strategic advisor to the commodities and trade finance teams, reporting into the Global General Counsel.
Main Duties
Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:
Lead all legal matters for the firm's four strategies in commodity trading and trade finance.
Provide expert advice around new product offerings and initiatives
Execute all transaction documentation and provide transactional support where appropriate
Assist on corporate governance and regulatory related matters
Your Profile
UK qualified with c.5 - 8PQE, ideally from a trade finance background
Understanding of physical commodities and commodity trading would be beneficial
