Our Client
Rutherford has been exclusively mandated on a compliance search for a multi-strategy hedge fund ($10bn AUM). They invest across a range of discretionary and systematic trading methods, including l/s and macro. The 'Vice President' will act as the deputy in the New York compliance team, covering a range of business-aligned responsibilities.
Main Duties
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Provide day-to-day regulatory advice to investment and trading teams.
Act as a key advisor on trading related matters, escalating matters where appropriate.
Head global regulatory initiatives and project
Assist with code-of-ethics and compliance monitoring, including trade surveillance.
Design and implement new compliance systems and controls to better enhance the efficiencies within the team.
Help manage and mentor compliance team members.
Your Profile
5 - 8+ years compliance experience, ideally from a hedge fund.
Regulatory knowledge across SEC, NFA and CFTC.
Compensation package includes basic salary (range of $200,000 - $220,000), demonstrable bonus, benefits, etc
