Our client, a renowned international law firm, is seeking a 2-4 PQE Corporate Associate to join their London-based Strategic Transactions Group, focusing on mergers & acquisitions and venture capital. Position Overview

As a Corporate Associate, you will play a key role in driving the growth of the firm's transactional practice, focusing on M&A for corporates, venture capital investments and emerging company transactions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the expansion of the firm's European practice from their London office, working alongside a dedicated and experienced team.

Main Duties

Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Advise a diverse range of clients, including venture capital funds, start-ups, and large corporates (both private and public) on sophisticated public or private acquisitions, growth investments and other similar transactions

  • Provide guidance on general corporate matters, including joint ventures, governance and securities law compliance

  • Engage in direct client interaction and manage various aspects of transactions independently

  • Collaborate with teams across the firm to deliver exceptional service to clients

Your Profile

  • 2-4 years PQE from a top-tier UK or international corporate practice

  • Strong knowledge of M&A and venture capital deals, including familiarity with BVCA standard documents

  • Experience in transactions involving life sciences is advantageous but not essential

  • Familiarity with public company matters is helpful but not a priority
