Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a 2-5 PQE Antitrust Associate to join their acclaimed London team. This role offers the chance to work on high-profile UK and European antitrust cases for top-tier clients. You'll collaborate with a globally recognised team and benefit from potential international secondment opportunities.

Role Overview

As an Antitrust Associate, you will play a key role in providing strategic advice on complex, multi-jurisdictional antitrust matters. You'll manage and coordinate antitrust filings, represent clients in investigations and competition litigation, and contribute to the practice's growth and success.

Main Duties

Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Advise on merger control, cartel, State aid, compliance, FDI and FSR matters

  • Manage antitrust filings and represent clients in investigations and litigation

  • Conduct legal research and draft key documents for competition authorities

  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities, implementing practice-wide strategies

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive engagement

  • Collaborate with Partners and mentor junior team members

  • Develop and share legal and sector knowledge internally and externally

Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor with 2-5 years' PQE in antitrust and competition law

  • Experience advising on multi-jurisdictional merger control, cartels, dominance and State aid matters

  • Strong academic record, intellectual curiosity, and creative thinking

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
