A leading multi-strategy hedge fund is looking for a Compliance Officer in Singapore. The Compliance Officer will work closely with lawyers and compliance professionals across EMEA, APAC & US. This position will provide the opportunity to get involved in a range of the firm's business activities and product development teams.
Responsibilities
Providing real-time regulatory advice to the business
Preparing regulatory filings
Reviewing and monitoring compliance activities
Liaising with compliance staff to support the firm's business units
Ensuring adherence to compliance policies
Requirements
2 to 3 years' experience within compliance, with an excellent academic record.
Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English is a must; other Asian language skills are a plus but not required.
Strong organisational and project management acumen are of great importance, as is a keen eye for detail and an impressive work ethic.
A bachelor's degree or higher is required, along with excellent analytical abilities, drafting and verbal communication skills, and well-developed numeracy.
Prior experience in paralegal work, accounting, financial operations, compliance, or investment management is beneficial but is not required.
