A global asset manager is looking for a specialist Marketing Compliance Officer in their team. The individual will sit in a small team and advise the business on sales, marketing and distribution efforts. This firm manage around circa £500bn of assets on behalf of clients and have offices across the globe.
This is a permanent role based in the City of London.
The Marketing Compliance Officer will provide advice to investment teams on marketing and sales materials, including financial promotions
Advise on cross border rules including product/ passport registrations
Review new distribution arrangements
Deliver training as needed to internal teams
Work with internal stakeholders to support initiatives, including fund launches and associated issues
Collaborate with global colleagues on a consistent policy approach
Provide guidance on the development and marketing of new products and services
3+ years of legal or compliance experience in investment management
Experience in applying financial promotion requirements
Knowledge of cross-border marketing rules in EMEA
Language skills highly desirable
