​A global asset manager is looking for a specialist Marketing Compliance Officer in their team. The individual will sit in a small team and advise the business on sales, marketing and distribution efforts. This firm manage around circa £500bn of assets on behalf of clients and have offices across the globe.

This is a permanent role based in the City of London.

Key Responsibilities
  • The Marketing Compliance Officer will provide advice to investment teams on marketing and sales materials, including financial promotions

  • Advise on cross border rules including product/ passport registrations

  • Review new distribution arrangements

  • Deliver training as needed to internal teams

  • Work with internal stakeholders to support initiatives, including fund launches and associated issues

  • Collaborate with global colleagues on a consistent policy approach

  • Provide guidance on the development and marketing of new products and services

Knowledge/experience
  • 3+ years of legal or compliance experience in investment management

  • Experience in applying financial promotion requirements

  • Knowledge of cross-border marketing rules in EMEA

  • Language skills highly desirable
