This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled legal professional to work on high-profile transactions and contribute to the firm's continued success in the private equity sector.

Position Overview

As a Private Equity Senior Associate, you will play a crucial role in advising private equity sponsors on a wide range of transactions, including acquisitions, investments, exits, and leveraged buyouts. You will work closely with sector specialists across the firm to deliver commercially focused solutions and provide exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

  • Advise private equity sponsors on complex transactions, including acquisitions, investments, exits, and leveraged buyouts

  • Lead deal execution, drafting, and negotiation of key transaction documents

  • Collaborate with sector specialists across the firm to deliver innovative and commercially focused solutions

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, with opportunities for business development

  • Supervise and mentor junior lawyers within the team, fostering their professional growth

Requirements

  • 5-8 years PQE (England & Wales qualified) with extensive private equity experience

  • Proven track record of sponsor-side transaction expertise from a leading UK law firm

  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and project management skills

  • Commercial mindset and proactive approach to client service

  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently and lead transactions
