The Role
As a Funds Associate, you will:
Advise clients on the structuring, formation, fundraising, and operation of private investment funds across various asset classes
Draft and negotiate fund documentation, investment management agreements, and related documents.
Provide advice on regulatory and compliance matters impacting investment funds and asset managers.
Work closely with partners and senior lawyers on cross-border fund matters.
Requirements
Qualified in England & Wales, or Commonwealth qualified with relevant London experience.
3+ PQE, with a strong academic background and training from a highly regarded City firm, Magic/Silver Circle, or peer US firm.
Proven track record working on private investment funds and asset management matters.
Strong understanding of investment funds, asset management laws, regulatory frameworks, and related transactions.
Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage complex matters and provide commercially focused advice.
