A leading law firm, is seeking a driven Associate to join their market-leading Private Equity team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious lawyer to work on complex transactions, advising business founders, management teams, and private capital investors.
Position Overview
As an Associate in the Private Equity team, you will play a key role in advising clients on a range of transactions, including M&A, private equity investments, and exits. You will work closely with entrepreneurial investors and growth-focused businesses, contributing to the team's success and the firm's reputation in the private equity sector.
Responsibilities
Advise on M&A transactions, equity investments, and disposals
Draft and negotiate key transactional documents, such as SPAs, shareholder agreements, and term sheets
Manage deal processes, liaise with W&I brokers, and coordinate completions
Engage in business development activities and publish thought leadership content
Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to deliver exceptional client service
Requirements
2-5 years PQE from a highly regarded corporate practice
Strong interest in private equity and investor-led transactions
Excellent technical skills and a commercial mindset
Exceptional relationship-building abilities with clients and colleagues
Strong communication, negotiation, and project management skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
