Our Client

Rutherford have been mandated on a fantastic opportunity to join our c.$5bn AUM private equity client’s growing London compliance team. This is a new opening with the firm looking to develop a new investment strategy and the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the regulatory compliance function within the strategy. High-risk jurisdiction experience is essential.

Main Duties

Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in the development and delivery of relevant compliance policies and procedures;

  • Ensure the strategy receives timely and relevant compliance and prevention of financial crime support

  • Staying abreast of and advising the business on relevant regulatory changes that impact the strategy, including but not limited to the Luxembourg regulator and other relevant regulatory bodies;

  • Interpreting the impact on the business of regulatory changes and driving the implementation of proportionate and effective system and control changes to ensure compliance;

  • Providing timely regulatory advice to the business;

  • Assisting in the development and delivery of relevant and timely compliance training;

  • Conducting KYC and AML checks; enhanced due diligence; oversight of documentation

  • Provide input, support and guidance for the completion of initial and ongoing due diligence

Your Profile

  • 7 + Years Professional experience in Compliance

  • Experience working in Africa and Luxembourg would be advantageous

  • Preferably with experience in private markets /asset management
