​Our Client

Rutherford have been mandated on a fantastic opportunity to join our global hedge fund client’s Compliance team, who are responsible for providing compliance oversight of the firm’s operations.

​

Main Duties

Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Taking a lead role in reviewing marketing communications across all business lines and products for global distribution.

  • Collaborating closely with the US team on approving marketing material being distributed to a global audience.

  • Advising the business on KIDs

  • Managing two junior members of the marketing compliance team.

  • Leading in identifying and implementing upcoming regulations relevant to marketing material and communications.

  • Providing training to all business teams in how to be compliant when producing and publishing marketing material.

  • Appraising corporate press statements a acting as a contact for the communications team.

Key Skills & Experience

  • University degree or equivalent

  • 5+ year’s experience in a similar role within a buy side financial services firm.

  • Strong experience in understanding the evolving regulatory requirements relating to the marketing and distribution of products and services
